Chris Talarico is an accomplished entrepreneur; winner of over a dozen local and national awards.  By the age of 18, she was working 5 jobs in addition to managing a multimillion dollar retail store in Philadelphia.  Chris graduated with a Degree in Fashion and Business from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, giving her a strong background in retail and visual merchandising.  She brings more than twenty years of business experience to the operation of her own personnel and recruiting firm; Chris TALARICO & Associates, Inc. (CTA, Inc.)  CTA, Inc. was founded in January 1992 with $500 and a young woman’s entrepreneurial dream.  Over the past several years, CTA, Inc. has evolved into a multimillion dollar woman owned company.

Chris is currently on the Marketing Committee and serves on the Board of Directors for Berks Economic Partnership.  She also serves on the Penn State Entrepreneurial Advisory Board, and she is an active member of Berks Arts Council and The Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

She produces and hosts her own Berks Community Television (BCTV)  show; Dreamers: Believe*Achieve*Succeed; showcasing local “dreamers” who share the same belief as her in helping our future “dreamers” to never give up on their dreams and always have HOPE.

• Is the oldest of 3 children
• Featured in Entrepreneur’s Business Start Ups and Staff Digest magazines
• A serial entrepreneur and business owner
• Received the National Sam Walton Business Leader of the Year Award in 1998
• Has dark brown hair and brown eyes
• Recipient of the 2003 ATHENA Award
• Will only drink the finest red wines
• Was in attendance at the 2008 Inc. Conference in Washington, D.C. and named by Inc. Magazine, “One of the top 5,000 fastest growing companies in the United States.”
• The one thing that annoys Chris the most is “liars”
• Is 5′ 5″ (minus the 3 inch heels…she is 5′ 2″)
• Lucky number is 6 or 8…..13 in some cases
• A couple of Chris’ favorite songs are “We Are the Champions” by Queen and “Live to Tell” by Madonna…she is very much an 80’s girl!!!!
• Was born in Reading, PA …Philly and New Orleans will always have a piece of her heart
• She once wanted to be an archeologist
• The best present that Chris ever received was from her staff, a basket full of lottery tickets and wine!!!!
• Chris’ nickname is “Troublemaker” …but a good one
